38 Hout Street
38 Hout is a commercial building in Cape Town city centre. A multi-use property, it features a restaurant on the bottom level with offices above. Our intent was to respect the classic bones of the building while giving the space a modern, warm revamp. The original staircase was upgraded and the floors were retiled with a modern herring-bone design. A custom-built marble-clad counter was the hero feature of this space.
